Deer Shank Dog Chew. These naturally raised New Zealand deer shank dog chews are minimally processed and unlike some other dog chews, they don`t stink when your dog chews them! Each natural deer shank bone has hair and skin removed, then is soaked for a minimum of 2 hours in 5% salt solution. The shank pieces are covered in beef wesand (windpipe) meat, then dried in a controlled atmosphere and cut to appropriate dog treat sized lengths. We suggest that you supervise while your dog enjoys any chew treat.
